Two ways the bill comes down.

The tariff switch lands on the next bill and costs the owner nothing. Solar, battery and EV charging take capital, so we only put them in front of an owner once the return is proven on that property's own numbers.

Every month

The market keeps moving. So do we.

Electricity pricing in South East Queensland is shifting faster than it has in decades. New tariffs launch, rebate rules change, and the cheapest plan last quarter is often not the cheapest this quarter. Monty re-checks every property on an ongoing basis and switches you again whenever something better appears, so you are never left sitting on a deal that quietly stopped being good.

Where it pays

Solar, battery and EV charging, costed properly.

The deepest reductions come from capital, and capital is only worth spending when the return is real. We size each system against twelve months of that property's actual usage and hand your owner the full picture.

  • Simple payback and annual return, modelled property by property, no compounding assumed
  • Up to three installer quotes sourced and reviewed line by line
  • One clear recommendation, or a straight no where the payback is not there
  • Our fee is set by the cheapest compliant quote, never the one we recommend

Where do the savings come from?

Two separate levers. The first reprices the power you already buy. The second changes when, and whether, you buy it at all.

Lever one, from the next bill

Not every hour costs the same.

Most South East Queensland plans price the day in blocks. Late evening and overnight power is cheap, the middle of the day is moderate, and the afternoon and evening block can run four to five times the overnight rate. Two properties with identical usage can land hundreds of dollars apart on their annual bill purely because of which blocks their plan charges hardest, and what it pays back for exported solar.

Worked example

An 11,000 kWh a year property on a flat 28c plan pays about $3,080 for energy. The same usage moved onto the time of use plan above, with the pool pump and hot water shifted into the off-peak block, comes to about $2,540. No equipment, no capital, no change the guest ever notices. That saving lands on the next bill and repeats every year.

Energy component only. The homepage example uses the all-in bill including supply charge, $4,000 for this property.

Lever two, where the numbers hold up

The shape of a day.

A short-stay property draws hardest in the morning and again through the evening, and the evening draw sits squarely inside the most expensive block. Solar peaks in the middle of the day, in the trough between the two. Sizing generation to that shape, then holding the surplus in a battery to spend against the evening peak, is what takes a bill down by more than a tariff switch ever can.
